This is a 20 year old Craigellachie from Decadent Drams, distilled in 2005 and bottled at 58.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a refill cask, then given four years in first-fill sherry at the end.
The notes are heavy and savoury: pipe smoke, walnut oil, barbecue soot and thick treacle, with a waxy, meaty, slightly sulphurous character. Coal shed, old study, steak tartare and scorched fruit cake are all mentioned.
