Dewar's 12 Year Old (75cl, 40%)

A 12 year old blended Scotch whisky from Dewar's, bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. The house was founded in 1846 by John Dewar. Dewar's 12 is double aged: once the blend has been made, it returns to oak casks for a further six months. The nose is honey, toasted grain, vanilla and soft orchard fruit. The palate brings butterscotch, ripe pear, subtle spice and a touch of smoke in the background. The finish is smooth and warming, ending on nutmeg and caramel.
