Dewar's Double Double is a 21 year old blended Scotch, bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill filtered. It was named the world's best blended Scotch at the 2025 World Whiskies Awards.
The whisky is matured in four casks used one after another rather than side by side: bourbon first, then sherry, then Marsala, with Madeira closing the sequence.
On the nose it is sweet stone fruits, golden honey, creamy vanilla and a little citrus zest. The palate brings white chocolate, cinnamon and layered dried fruit with nutty undertones, and the finish is long and silky, with oak sweetness and the gentle warmth of sherry.
