Dewar's Double Double 32 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky in a 50cl bottle, bottled at 46% without chill filtration.
It is made by the Double Double process: single malts and grain whiskies are aged and blended separately, aged again, then married and finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Master Blender Stephanie Macleod created it.
The nose brings PX sherry richness, dark fruit compote, polished oak, espresso and fig. On the palate come toffee, roasted walnut, prune and spice cake. The finish is long and warm, with dried fruit, soft oak tannins and nutmeg.
