Banana Peel Rum is a sweet, fruity rum from Discarded. It starts with a Caribbean rum that was first used to season empty William Grant and Sons whisky casks, then blended with an extract made from banana peels.
The extract brings toffee notes with a fruity balance. On the palate there are flavours of banoffee pie and sticky toffee pudding, along with deep, fruity milk chocolate raisins, followed by a finish of crystallised ginger.
