A 12 year old Island single malt from Ledaig, the peated whisky of Tobermory distillery, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in the Discovery range, which groups whiskies by flavour such as smoky.
The nose has bonfire peat and sea salt, with maple-cured meat, baked apple, briny seaside grasses, citrus zest and toffee. The palate is salty and smoky, with fudge, milk chocolate, citrus and olive brine. The finish is long and warming, with citrus peel and smouldering ash.
