This is a Ledaig single malt from the Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull, distilled in 2005 and matured for more than 15 years. It was bottled as Artist #12 in a 70cl bottle at 64.8% ABV.
The nose is very intense, with straightforward peat, cold smoke, leather and lemon zest. The palate is deep, with ripe apricot, damp earth, flowers, liquorice and pepper, along with curry spice and ylang-ylang.
