Don Fulano Fuerte Blanco Tequila (75cl, 50%)

Don Fulano Fuerte is an overproof blanco tequila bottled at 50% vol in a 75cl bottle. The agave is Maduro and Pinto from the Atotonilco highlands, cooked for 28 to 32 hours, pressed with a screw press, fermented in open tanks for 72 to 96 hours and distilled in copper pot stills. It rests for at least six months in stainless steel. The nose is floral, with jasmine, orange blossom and a grassy note from volcanic spring water, alongside yellow apple and cooked agave. The palate is full-bodied, mineral and complex, with wet cement, and the finish is long and generous.
