This is a 6 year old single malt from Dornoch, distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2026 at 57.4% ABV. It comes in a 50cl bottle.
The spirit is made from Maris Otter barley, a variety long used in ale brewing, and fermented for seven days, which gives an oily texture. The barley is unpeated, but the whisky was aged in Laphroaig quarter casks, which adds a hint of peaty aroma.
The nose combines aloe, mezcal, bonfire smoke, sea breeze and rye bread. On the palate come honey lemon, candied citrus peel, seaweed and peat smoke. The finish brings persimmon, brined green olives and ginger.
