Big Peat is a blended malt from Douglas Laing, made only from single malt Scotch whiskies from the island of Islay. Four distilleries contribute: Caol Ila for sweetness, Bowmore for balance, Ardbeg for a medicinal, earthy quality and Port Ellen for a degree of elegance. Together they are intended to represent all that is Islay in a bottle.
