Douglas Laing Rock Island Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (1L, 48%)

Rock Island is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Douglas Laing, in a 1000ml bottle at 48%. It is part of the Remarkable Regional Malts range and combines single malts distilled on islands including Islay, Arran, Jura and Orkney. The whisky was matured in American oak ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. On the nose it is maritime and salty, with rocks soaked by waves and a fresh ocean influence. The palate is subtle, with gentle peat and some sweetness, alongside smoke, honey, wet ash, liquorice and late pepper. The finish echoes everything that came before.
