Double Barrel from Douglas Laing & Co. brings together Bowmore and Craigellachie in a single Scotch malt whisky, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is led by maritime notes, with salted cured meat, charcoal and lime zest. On the palate, honey and peat smoke are woven together with burnt sugar, more charcoal and jammy dark berries.
The finish is long and fresh, with hints of hay, vanilla and lemon.
