The nose is fresh and coastal, with sweet peat smoke, salty sea air, soot and medicinal touches, and malted barley and lemon zest behind them. The palate starts oily and sugary before moving to ash, tar, bonfire smoke and black pepper, with a little vanilla and white fruit. The finish is long and dry, with soot, coal dust and iodine.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
