This is a 10 year old Mortlach, a Speyside single malt bottled by Douglas Laing & Co. in its Provenance range. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The nose is aromatic and fruity: green apple, juicy pear and caramelised banana, with sugared orange peel, soft vanilla and the warmth of white oak. The palate is creamy and balanced, with chocolate praline, malt sweetness and citrus zest, plus a light spice of turmeric and oak. The finish is long, clean and warm, with spiced raisin cake, butter and orange marmalade, ending fresh and slightly piquant.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
