A 13 year old Highland blended malt from the independent bottler Douglas Laing & Co., in a 70cl bottle. It is bottled at its natural cask strength of 52.5%.
The blend is made entirely from Highland single malts matured in oak casks. It is a limited-edition release, non-chill filtered and with no added colouring. The name comes from Robert Burns' poem about a mouse.
On the nose are honeyed malt, dark fruit and baking spice, with cinnamon, vanilla, toasted oak and citrus peel. The palate offers toffee, nutmeg and candied ginger, with peppery spice. The finish is long and warming, with honey and sweet spice.
