Douglas Laing Timorous Beastie (70cl, 46.8%)

Timorous Beastie is a blended malt from the Highlands, bottled by Douglas Laing at 46.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered. The name comes from the frightened field mouse in the Robert Burns poem To a Mouse. Douglas Laing was founded in 1948 by Fred Douglas Laing and is still run by the Laing family. The aroma is full of spiced honey, and the taste is slightly peppery.
