A Bas Armagnac in a 70cl bottle, aged in cask for 40 years. It is meant to be sipped neat from a balloon glass, and it is fairly balanced and harmonious.
The nose is intense and complex, with spice from cinnamon and clove and a strong presence of tobacco leaf. The palate is powerful, with a very firm entry and a warmth that slightly covers the other sensations.
