Duc de Maravat VSOP is an Armagnac from the south-west of France, matured in oak casks for at least four years and bottled at around 40% abv.
The colour is a deep, bright amber. The nose is rich, led by vanilla and ripe fruit with fine touches of wood and sweet spice.
The palate opens softly on plum, caramel and a hint of cocoa that builds gradually. The finish is long and warming, with a controlled sweetness. It can be sipped neat at room temperature or used as the base of a cocktail.
