A 13 year old Dufftown from Speyside, bottled as a single cask by the independent bottler Artful Dodger at 57.6% ABV, in a 50cl bottle. It spent its whole maturation in one bourbon barrel, number 700203, and the label carries a golden hand motif.
On the nose there is sweet malt, bourbon vanilla and apple, with a little oak spice and oat biscuits. The palate is dry and aromatic, with salted caramel, warm porridge and a hint of whipped cream. The finish is long and soft, ending on sweet caramel sweets.
