This is a single cask Dufftown single malt from 2008, bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd. The distillery stands in Dufftown, which is known as the whisky capital of Speyside. After its main maturation the whisky was given a finish in a former PX sherry cask.
The nose combines PX sweetness and dried fruit with light citrus and restrained spice. The palate is oily, with raisins and figs, followed by fruitcake and a little banana. The finish is long, with fruity apple notes.
