This is a 16 year old single malt from Dufftown, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2024 at 51.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was bottled by Gleann Mor under its Rare Find label and finished in first-fill Oloroso sherry.
Dufftown has a greater concentration of distilleries than any other area in Scotland, and its whisky is known for a malt-heavy, nutty and spicy character.
The nose offers citrus and pine needles. The palate is sweet and creamy, with blackcurrant jam, nutmeg and boiled sweets, leading to a warm, spiced finish.
