Black Bull 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky from the independent bottler Duncan Taylor, bottled at 50% ABV. The Black Bull blend was first produced in the 1930s and has been made by Duncan Taylor since 2001, with malt and grain whisky in equal parts.
The nose is fairly sweet and rounded by malt, with berries, nuts, spice and cocoa. The palate is soft and round, with nuts, fruit and cream, and the finish carries on with more richness and fruity tones.
