This is a single cask Glen Garioch, bottled by the independent bottler Duncan Taylor exclusively for the German market. It matured from 2012 to 2023, eleven years in all, and was then finished in a sherry octave cask. Only 79 bottles were filled.
It was bottled at 53.8% ABV, unfiltered and without added colour.
Apples and caramel lead on the nose, with chocolate, coffee and spice. The palate is fruity and spicy, with apples and cherries over malt and plums. The finish is long, with citrus fruit, dried fruit and spicy oak.
