Duncan Taylor The Politician Blended Scotch Whisky (70cl, 40%)

The Politician is a blended Scotch whisky bottled by Duncan Taylor, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It was first created as an exclusive bottling for The Politician bar on Eriskay in the Outer Hebrides, and it puts a noticeable emphasis on malt whisky. The nose is floral, with pear, orange, lemon curd, apple skin, almond and heather honey. The palate is creamy, with almond butter, buttery caramel, dry oak, orange blossom and cinnamon. The finish is sweet and warming, with candied orange, toasted coconut and white pepper.
