E.H. Taylor, Jr. Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

A Kentucky straight bourbon from the E.H. Taylor, Jr. range, with each barrel hand-picked and bottled in bond at 100 proof (50%). It comes in a 75cl bottle. The name honours Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr., who bought the site now known as Buffalo Trace Distillery and pressed for the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. The bottle follows the design of his original, used over a century ago. The nose is lightly toasted oak with dried figs and butterscotch. On the palate, sweetness is balanced by tobacco and dark spices, and the finish is of moderate length.
