Eagle Rare 10 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. It is made at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, from Buffalo Trace's Mash Bill #1, matured for ten years and put together in small batches.
The nose opens with toffee and orange peel, followed by herbs and honey, with leather and oak adding a drier edge. The palate is powerful and dry yet finely drawn, with candied almond and rich cocoa. The finish is dry and long.
