A rye whisky from the East London Liquor Company, made from rye and malted barley and distilled twice in pot stills.
It was matured in a combination of regenerated oak barrels and London brandy casks. It is suited to drinking neat or in cocktails such as a Manhattan, a Sazerac or an Old Fashioned.
The nose is of roasted nuts, dried fruit and toasty spices, with a faint touch of red chilli. On the palate come apricot, black pepper, honey and dry oak, with a floral sweetness.
