East London Single Malt Whisky (70cl)

This is an English single malt made entirely at East London Liquor Company's Bow Wharf distillery in London, in a 70cl bottle. It is made from 100% Norfolk malted barley, fermented for 96 hours and double pot distilled. The spirit is matured across regenerated oak, new American oak and ex-Bourbon casks. The nose brings stewed apples, chocolate and oatmeal biscuits with sweet malt and ripe fruit. The palate shows ripe pineapple, cooked orchard fruit, malted cereal and chocolate, with lively Szechuan pepper spice. The finish is warming and gently spicy, with lingering malt, fruit and oak.
