Edmond Briottet Crème de Banane (25%)

Edmond Briottet Crème de Banane is a French banana liqueur at 25% abv. It is made by macerating banana essence in a neutral wine base, then rounding the result with sugar and a little vanilla. The nose is ripe banana and golden plantain with creamy vanilla pudding, light spice and a floral touch. On the palate it is silky, with banana opening into tropical fruit, toasted sugar, vanilla cream and a hint of caramel. The finish is long, with lingering tropical sweetness, warm vanilla and a little spice. It works in classic and contemporary cocktails.
