Edradour – 12 Year Old Cask Strength Batch #2 2011/2023 (70cl, 57.6%)

This is a cask strength single malt from Edradour, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2023 at 57.6% in a 70cl bottle. Batch #2 was vatted from eight casks and yielded 5,100 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and free of added colouring. The nose offers freshly baked cherry cake, chocolate-covered strawberries, dates, burnt almonds and candied orange, with cinnamon, aniseed biscuits and oak. On the palate come raspberry jam, sugared redcurrants and plums, alongside fried bacon, chocolate walnuts, cinnamon buns and white pepper. The finish is long, with red fruit, dried fruit and spicy nuts.
