A 12 year old Edradour bottled in a small batch at 48.2% ABV. Only a few first-fill Burgundy wine casks were chosen for it, and the outturn is 2,840 bottles.
The nose offers red berries, a gentle honey sweetness, strawberries, cherries and herbs. The palate is intense yet soft, with red fruit, dark chocolate, mocha, fine spice and pleasant tannins, alongside a tart quince jelly. The finish is of good length and elegant, with roasted notes and both fruity and dry accents.
