Eichenfass Der Whisky is a German blended whisky in a 70cl bottle, made from a mixed-grain distillate and matured for 3 years in English oak casks. The grain character sits alongside oak, vanilla, orchard fruit, caramel and warming spice. The nose is toasted oak and vanilla with ripe orchard fruit and delicate floral notes. On the palate come caramel sweetness, oak, dark chocolate and warming spice, with a smooth, rounded texture. The finish is lingering, with honeyed oak and gentle pepper.
