A blended malt from Elements of Islay, Cask Edit sits in the core range alongside Sherry Cask and Bourbon Cask. It is made from an edit of refill Bourbon and Sherry casks and is bottled at 46%.
It marries a rich, smoky single malt from Islay's south coast with a fresher, fruitier style from the north.
The nose brings freshly brewed coffee with hot milk, sugared almonds and white chocolate truffles, with light peat smoke and a fresh fruit basket. The palate is sweet and mineral, with vanilla smoke and wood spice alongside buttery croissants and milky coffee. The finish is lightly smoked and sweet, with gentle fruit salad notes.
