This is an 18 year old Kentucky bourbon, bottled at 45% in a 75cl bottle. Each bottling comes from the contents of one barrel rather than a mingling of many.
The nose offers aged oak and spiced vanilla, with mint and chocolate. The palate is richly textured, nutty and semisweet, with an initial burst of honey giving way to toasted wood and pleasant char. The finish is lively, lingering with vanilla and pepper.
