This is a small batch Bourbon from Elijah Craig, a name with a history going back to 1789, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is aged for 12 years in bourbon barrels chosen by the master distiller from a middle-of-the-rickhouse location.
The nose is light, with honey, caramel and cocoa. The palate is sweet, smooth and warm, leading to a full, spicy finish.
