Elijah Craig – Toasted Barrel Bourbon (70cl, 47%)

Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel is a bourbon bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle. It starts from the Small Batch Bourbon, which is fully matured and then moved into a second barrel. That second barrel is custom-toasted new oak, where the bourbon develops more sweet oak flavour. Pekoe tea, new leather, cinnamon, cedar and jasmine come through in the aroma. On the palate there are peach preserves and brown sugar, with a chipotle spice.
