A white wine from Barone Montalto, Etna DOC Bianco Fumu, made from Carricante grapes grown on the slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily. The volcanic soil gives intense, distinctive minerality. It is aged in steel to preserve varietal purity, with citrus, green apple and light floral aromas and a smoky touch. On the palate it is balanced and savoury, with a structure that supports good persistence and a long, harmonious finish. It pairs well with fish, shellfish and light first courses.
