Evan Williams Kentucky Straight Bourbon is bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It takes its name from Evan Williams, who opened Kentucky's first distillery on the banks of the Ohio River in 1783. Heaven Hill matures it for longer than the law requires, a few extra years in the barrel that give it a smoother character.
The colour is a medium amber. The nose is light, with deep vanilla and mint, and the palate brings oak, brown sugar and caramel. The finish runs medium to long.
