Heaven Hill 90th Anniversary is a nine year old Kentucky straight bourbon, released by the distillery to mark its own 90th anniversary. It is bottled at 53.5% abv (107 proof) in a 75cl bottle.
The mashbill is 78% corn, 12% malted barley and 10% rye. The bourbon is a blend of 70% Kentucky straight bourbon and 30% aged in heavy char barrels. It comes from 204 barrels, matured for nine years and eight months in Rickhouses G and H, and it is non-chill-filtered.
The nose is sweet, with vanilla ice cream, birthday cake and coconut. The palate is spicy with chocolate, and the finish brings chocolate, raspberry jam and baking spices.
