Evan Williams Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a Kentucky bourbon in a 37.5cl bottle, bottled at 43% ABV. It is named after Evan Williams, who opened Kentucky's first distillery on the banks of the Ohio River in 1783.
It is aged for considerably longer than the law requires, with Heaven Hill giving it a few extra years in the barrel. The colour is a medium amber.
The nose is light, with deep vanilla and mint. On the palate there are oak, brown sugar and caramel, and the finish runs medium to long.
