Evan Williams Single Barrel is an eight-year-old bourbon from the USA, drawn from a single barrel and bottled at 43.3% abv in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings vanilla, burnt caramel and sweet oak, with fine spices and a touch of dried orange peel. On the palate come toffee, cinnamon and baked apple skin, with a mild sweetness, fine oak and a little nutmeg. The finish is medium in length and soft, leaving vanilla, caramel and a slightly dry spiciness.
