Dry Fly Distilling – Straight Bourbon Whiskey 101 Proof (75cl, 50.5%)

This is a straight bourbon from Dry Fly Distilling of Spokane, Washington, bottled at 101 proof, or 50.5% ABV, in a 750ml bottle. It is a corn-forward style. The distillery was founded by Don Poffenroth, out of a passion for fly-fishing and the Pacific Northwest, and works from the farm to the bottle with local ingredients from sustainable Washington farms. The nose combines corn and wood with green corncobs, nuts, nougat chocolate, malt and coffee. On the palate it is full-bodied and balanced, with intense grain, broad roast notes and dried prunes, ending in a warming finish.
