The whiskey is made from 100% wheat, taking the distillery's soft white wheat spirit to full intensity. Founder Don Poffenroth started Dry Fly out of a passion for fly-fishing and the Pacific Northwest, using local ingredients from Washington farms. Despite the strength, it is described as drinking softer than its proof suggests.
