Fair Mexican Whisky

Fair Mexican Whisky is made from blue corn grown in Oaxaca, Mexico. It is double distilled in copper alembic stills. The whisky spends four years in single fill bourbon casks in Mexico, then a further six months to a year in new Limousin oak casks in Cognac. It comes from Fair, a spirits brand that holds Fair Trade certification. The nose is very aromatic, with hints of marshmallow and caramel. On the palate come marzipan, vanilla and dark chocolate, followed by a distinctive finish of raspberry, cardamom and oak.
