Family and Friends Rosso Terre Siciliane IGT Feudo Maccari

A red wine from Terre Siciliane IGT, made from 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Syrah. It is fermented and macerated at controlled temperature for 18 days, then matured for 16 months in small oak barrels and refined for 6 months in bottle. In the glass it is intense ruby red, with aromas of ripe fruit, spices and toasted notes. On the palate it is warm and enveloping, with good structure, fine tannins and a pleasant finish. It is suited to fine meats, noble game and braised red meats.
