A red wine from Feudo Maccari, made exclusively from Nero d'Avola in the Val di Noto area of Sicily. The grapes are hand-harvested and macerated for about 10-12 days, then matured in steel tanks. It is intense ruby red with violet reflections, with aromas of ripe red fruits, spices and a light herbaceous note. The palate is solid yet harmonious, with well-integrated tannins and a long, persistent finish. It suits red meat roasts, stews and aged cheeses.
