Fettercairn 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt, in a 70cl bottle at 40% abv.
It was matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, which give it a colour of sunlight and amber honey. The style is a tropical one, which the distillery calls its signature house character.
The palate shows vanilla and pear with soft spices. The finish brings nectarine and tropical fruit, with subtle roasted coffee, clove and ginger, ending on sultanas and black toffee.
