Fettercairn – Exploration Series 10 Year Old 2015/2026 (50%)

This is a single cask Fettercairn from the Exploration Series by Claxton's. A Highland single malt, it was distilled on 15 June 2015 and bottled in 2026, after ten years in the wood. All of that time was spent in a fresh tawny port hogshead, and the whisky has an ochre colour in the glass. It is bottled at 50% vol, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring. The flavour is described as papaya and strawberry, with the port cask adding fruit to the Highland character.
