Filey Bay Flagship is a Yorkshire single malt made from 100% homegrown barley and matured in ex-bourbon casks, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It is the culmination of the distillery's ex-bourbon style, following its First and Second Releases.
The style is light, fruity and creamy, and the whisky is made from field to bottle.
Tasting notes run to caramel, citrus, honey and vanilla. Lemon verbena and butter toffee show on the nose, the palate has a peaches and cream character, and a light dusting of spice comes through in the finish.
