Filey Bay Moscatel Finish Batch 3 is a single malt from a young distillery in Yorkshire, England, bottled at 46%. It is finished in casks that previously held Moscatel, a sweet natural Spanish wine with intense aromas. This is the third batch of the expression.
The nose brings candied grapes, acacia honey and exotic fruit. The palate is silky, with dried fruit, creamy vanilla, gentle spice, white flowers and oak. The finish is long, balancing the fruity sweetness of the Moscatel with the malty character of the whisky.
